The Yellow-breast Flat (Gerosis bhagava), found in India and Southeast Asia, rests with its wings spread flat—a characteristic trait of its group. Its name comes from the warm yellow tone on its thorax, contrasting beautifully with its dark wings. Preferring forested habitats, it flies low to the ground and feeds on Dalbergia and Pterocarpus species, showing strong host-plant fidelity.
