The beautiful red and white spotted cap is one of the most recognisable fungi in the world. The Fly Amanita mushroom contains two toxins, isotonic and muscimol, responsible for its psychoactive and hallucinogenic effects. It is traditionally mixed with milk and left out in bowls to kill flies.
