Made famous by the movie Finding Nemo, clownfish are small, brightly colored reef dwellers found in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. They share a unique relationship with sea anemones, which offer protection in exchange for leftover food and cleaning. Fascinatingly, clownfish can change gender—the dominant male becomes female if the female dies. They are also capable of producing venom as a means of defense.
