Sea nettles feature a large bell in yellow to reddish-brown hues with ruffled tentacles, ranging from yellow to dark maroon.
Adorned with lethal stinging cells, they inflict pain on prey but pose no serious threat to humans. These jellyfish can boast bells up to 30 inches wide and tentacles reaching 16 feet on giant specimens, comprising over 90% water.
